Innovative Learning Grants are the signature project of the WJCC Schools Foundation.
WJCC public school educators need simply explain how they think their successful grant will spark interest, develop skills, or deepen understanding for their students, and to provide an outline the materials they need and the funds necessary to acquire the materials.
Applications for Innovative Learning Grants for funds from $50 to $4,000 are accepted during the open grant season, usually September to December. Winning grants are awarded in February.
The online application is easy to follow and allows applicants to edit, copy and paste, share links, record vendor information, and store all grant research until it is completed and ready to submit. In addition, collaboration among teams, across grade levels and schools is all possible.
From September to early December teachers and administrators can access the online application on the WJCC Schools Foundation website.
We extend our admiration to all the educators who apply and applaud their initiative for taking the time to articulate a vision and seek funding for an innovative grant. Good luck to all for a successful award!
Because this is a community funded initiative, we also extend immense gratitude to our donors! By supporting this initiative, you’re giving educators access to resources that encourage experimentation in teaching and access to tools that are not currently available in the school division budget.
