A Look Back at Our Beginning

The WJCC School Board and Superintendent Steve Constantino introduced the WJCC Schools Foundation to our teachers and community at the beginning of the 2015-16 school year. Our first board President was Clarence Wilson, and the first honorary Campaign Chairman was Taylor Reveley III, then the President of the College of William & Mary. We hosted a breakfast at Fords Colony for hundreds of guests and discovered that there are many in our community who share our goal of providing innovative learning grants to engage and inspire students in our public school classrooms. By January 2015 we were pleased to award 20 Innovative Learning Grants totaling more than $27,000 to our teachers. Please watch this video “Celebrating Innovation – Inspiring Commitment” to see how much we accomplished in our first year!
